Peters Mountain--fifteen of those miles--very little change in elevation: a razor-straight ridge with few views (just one actually - the vista from a refreshing open field on the mountain top above Symms Gap).
Little bits of West Virginia under foot again too - first time in 375 Trail miles (since Keys Gap).
And now the story of the rain: Heavy rain until midnight last night. Deluge again just after sunset tonight - barely half an hour after my fine, dry, unbesodden 20 mile sojourn!
11PM tonight - snow! Yikes! White slippery trails tomorrow.
Strange day ... no verbs.
